What Is MannaEXPRESS?

Towards the end of June 2006, after an intensive three day dry fast before the Lord about something not related to a career, the Lord placed it in the heart of the publisher of MannaEXPRESS, May E. Olusola, to start a general interest Christian publication called MannaEXPRESS. 

1.) It must reflect the demographics of heaven – all races, ages and gender.

2.) Like the Oscar awards, MannaEXPRESS must honor those working on and behind the scenes for the kingdom.

3.) It should contain different columns that address the issues affecting the human existence.

May Olusola was in denial of the instructions because she was sure she did not have what it took to do the task. With an accent she was concious of, a lack of experience in the Journalism arena, no capital to start with and the audacity to join the league of Publisher, scared her a lot. As challenging as the assignment seemed, she eventually accepted the instruction from above with an enormous faith, constant prayers and sincere encouragement from her loved ones.  

The first issue of Manna EXPRESS came out in print six weeks after her dry fast. Jehovah Jireh proved Himself in her life by providing for the vision.  It started as a twelve page newspaper. It was welcomed with a lot of enthusiasm by believers and non-believers.  Today it has evolved into a 28 page Christian newspaper that covers issues affecting everyday life.  With an expanding monthly readership of more than forty thousand people in print and online, the paper is continuously breaking new grounds.  From the Fresh Manna column to the Teenager of the month, to Living in a world of homelessness to Missions and Missionaries, to Breakout and Breakthrough prayers and many more interesting columns, Manna EXPRESS is living up to the its scriptural slogan – Exodus 16:15b "It is the bread that the Lord has given us to eat." 

Alongside with the newspaper, the MannaEXPRESS TV show was launched in January 2009. It is broadcast on
 live TV from downtown Dallas on Saturdays on channel 47.2 at 6:30pm.
